I think the Trump search warrant hoopla will die down shortly. Once it's publicly known (via the redacted affidavit) that several efforts were made to get the docs from T before the search warrant, it should take the wind out of their sails, so to speak.

But what will happen when he is indicted? I suspect much noise and threatening with little action. The two who acted so far are both dead now.

Republicans for Trump love a fight as long as the odds are greatly stacked in their favor, but they are not so brave otherwise. We shall see.

Fun fact: Mehdi Hazzan was hosting one of the MSNBC shows when he suggested Biden rename the Build Back Better plan the Inflation Reduction Act. He half jokingly said it would give it a name everyone could get behind and was no more disengenuous than Republicans who regularly rename things to make them sound like something they are not. "Voting integrity" comes to mind.

I don't know if that helped it pass since NO Republicans supported it, but it does sound good at a time when inflation is what many are complaining about. Dems are finally learning how to message.
