Hi Ratan,
I think it's a great idea to include the political landscape in your advice to those seeking to excel in the tech industry.
I found the article easy to read and follow.
I would like to offer a couple of pointers since you asked me for feedback:
1) Be consistent about using the standard Medium formatting for headings and subheadings. Also, use the title, subtitles, and tickers. Medium has lots of articles on this rather mundane topic, but if you follow their formatting guidelines, it increases the chances that you will get "boosted" by the Medium editorial staff. That means they'll pretty much send your article out to everybody.
2) All images need attribution. So, put a caption under them that tells us where you got them and links to the source. Images also need "alt text." That's for people who listen rather than read your article. Alt text lets you type in a description of the image. You also need this to get boosted on Medium.
3) When you move from an idea to an example, you can make a new paragraph. It's nice if the paragraphs are not too long. There's a psychological response to seeing a long paragraph that is less inviting than a short one. This is particularly true in this era of sound bites.
For example, in your opening paragraph, you make a compelling statement. It can stand alone. It tells us what we're about to read. Then, you can move to a new paragraph when you give the example of the debate. This pause makes your opening statement more powerful.
I hope you found this helpful. Keep going; you're doing great!
