I agree with most of what you said, but I think Biden is grossly underestimated. His experience and understanding of the political system are invaluable.

I am old enough to remember that the negative press the liberals get started back when Newt Gingrich famously said that feelings matter more than facts. He started the campaign to make liberals out to be crazy and a threat to the American way and he's had several followers who've taken up that cause since.

The problem is that he made it all up! Most of the horror stories I hear about liberals are just nonsense. But triggering emotions is successful because most people don't do their homework. If someone makes them feel a certain way, they simply assume that person is right.

Biden needs better press--but given that he's overcome a stutter he had as a child, every halting word he utters is mistaken for being slow and demented. He's 1,000 times more capable than Trump, yet Trump pushes buttons, and people get validated for being their worst selves. When you want to feel right about things without having to self-reflect or do the work needed to vet what's true, it's very easy to become a victim of this kind of manipulation.

Biden is old, but he's extremely capable. If people would look at his record instead of listening to talking heads, more people would know this.
