I am sure you know a lot more about what's been happening in Africa and Asia than I do.

I know I should never just read headlines, but this one made me angry. I think it's the blanket oversimplification that made me react so strongly.

That gets clicks but I think you're a better write than that.

Americans have done some stupid things, but we as flawed as we are, I believe the positive greatly outweighs the negative. Of course, I live here so I know how great life can be in a place where you can do and be who you are without fear. I also live in California--can you tell? ;-)
