I could not disagree more. Televising this trial is the only way anybody currently supporting Trump will hear the truth.

Trump's threats cannot continue to control the behavior of the people trying to hold him accountable. Already every witness is known due to the discovery process. We cannot stop this information from spreading--but we can show everyone the nature of Trump's mental illness, his lies and his violent nature--in a regulated courthouse where his behavior will be curtailed and his usual PR stunts will not be allowed.

Trump does not want this televised--he's lying when he says he does. He wants to make out that the judicial process is so crooked they won't show it on TV. But just like he pretended to want to be present for the E. Jean Carroll trial, he never showed up.

Trump is a coward and the sooner people stop behaving like he has any real power the better.

Protections need to be in place, but this is even more important than Watergate and that trial was televised so this one should be too.
