I found this fascinating. It's one thing to theorize but quite another to practice those theories successfully.

As with all therapies, I imagine it's possible to go too far and make stuff up to fit the model. But it sounds like Schwartz is humble enough not to go there. My own experience is that too often men think they know it all and instead of continuing to learn themselves, they start trying to force patients to fit their concepts.

The example you gave here (that has led to law suits) appears to be such a situation. The therapy they used seemed sound but their application of it was not.
