In short, no. They do not understand that even discussing race in the way they do is profoundly racist.

I just canceled my Spotify Premium account because Spotify chose to keep Rogan's podcast on the air even after Neil Young pulled all his music from their site in protest, requesting they cancel Rogan. Spotify wouldn't, so I canceled them. It’s bad enough that he’s a racist, but now he’s spreading COVID disinformation and helping the Republicans kill people.

It's not like I think anyone at Spotify will care, but I still felt compelled to send them a note, telling them why.

I still can't grasp how anyone can fail to process the simple fact that skin color is determined by the amount of sun in the place where specific races evolved. In every other way, we're all the same. How did we to the point where skin color is being used to define one's inherent value? I'm baffled by this, daily.
