It's a bit complicated, but do you remember after the 2020 election when Republicans literally took voting machines from their location and took them apart? One woman was sent to prison for this, I believe. But we have no idea what she did or what information she shared after she did that.

At the time she said it was to look for problems, but they may have actually put in a chip that could allow internet access. So if any of the machines were sabotaged in this way, and then given back to the elections officials, they would have no way to check for that because they are not computer scientists.

Also, apparently polling data does get transmitted over the internet and Musk would have the potential to hack data transmission given that he owns the systems being used and has unfettered access to them.

If the transmission was hacked to add single votes for Trump without any ballot attached you would get some of the odd things we've seen. Like in NC, where all the local election candidates who won were Dems. Yet for the presidential election, Trump won. If they hate the Libs so much they'd vote for a con artist, why elect Dems to every other office in the state?

The simple way to find out would be to do a hand count. If the number of ballots with a Trump vote was lower than the reported Trump vote, we would know for sure. But nobody wants to go there, and now I think it's too late.
