Koresh was abusing women and children. The FBI messed up hugely, no argument there. But this piece seems to gloss over the real reason the government had a problem with them in the first place.

It is also a very unusual event, not characteristic of how the FBI works, in general.

I find it interesting that a single incident causes so many people to react as if the government is coming after them. It's absurd, IMO.
