So, Medium is political, like everything else. I enjoyed the Keeper of the Place but the title didn't make sense to me.

Overall, I thought How to keep a Dead Cat in the Freezer was a better written piece (thought I didn't love that title either) but I figured they were being partial to newer writers. I didn't think about the demographics until I read your piece.

The long wait and the lack of respect in how they treated us really turned me off as well. Every writer who submitted should have been put in to a database for updates, at the very least.

And most certainly the writing, not the writer, should have been the only criteria, IMO.
