Thanks for your feedback. In terms of companies, it usually means equal pay for equal work. So even though women still make $.84 per $1 men make nationally, many companies have taken it upon themselves to pay women what they pay men for the same job as part of their DEI commitment. However, since people don't usually know what their colleagues are paid, it's not what people typically refer to when talking about DEI--especially those who resist it. The focus there tends to be on being "forced" to consider how POC and women are treated in general and whether respect and acceptance of the "other" are encouraged or scoffed at.
