The first deadline for the notices about who won passed with no communication from you guys.

I asked for a response and got an email saying the winner would be announced on 10/7.

That's today.

I've received no emails announcing the winner and there is no mention of the status of the contest on your blog.

Somebody else commented on this lack of communication and was told the winner would be announced on 10/12. I read that one a few days ago.

I'm probably not doing myself any favors saying this, but are you guys paid for your work at Medium? Because I've never had a paying job that allowed me fail so miserably at communicating with people I'm being paid to help.

Writers put their best effort forward for stuff like this and you can't even be bothered to keep your time commitments or keep us posted.

This is extremely disappointing.
