This does not make sense to me. Why must we conclude that it already has ended?

On another note, necessity is the mother of invention. It makes absolute sense to me that man created God in man's image. Why else is Jesus white? Why is God personified and given human qualities like vengeance and mercy?

If anything, the intelligent universe is better summed up as being a product of Mother Nature. Forget all human qualities--she is all about the laws of physics and cause and effect. We may strain to understand her, but we will always fall short.

Man is limited. He makes shit up all the time. When he doesn't understand something, he creates a theory and calls it true. That's been happening since the beginning of time and long before the scientific method.
