This is brilliant. And it got me thinking: Why didn't the police go to the window outside the classroom in Uvalde and shoot randomly at the height of about 5'?

The kids were all trained to drop to the ground, so presumably, they'd kill him or at least scare the crap out of the shooter. He might run into the hall, where others could have taken him down. Or the second the coordinated effort to shoot through the windows stopped, they could enter the classroom while he's crouched down in fear and take him out.

Or what about some sleeping gas they could put in a canister and throw into the room?

Why has nobody come up with anything better than to arm the teachers?

Where are the creative thinkers in this world, and WTF are they doing?
