This is one woman who pushes your buttons. I get it.

But you don't seem to get that it is not up to anyone but the mother to decide if having a child is the right decision.

Research shows that neglected children become problems for society. Unless you plan to adopt someone else's unwanted child, you aren't really in a position to judge.

Men never carry the total weight of parenting. They can't. What a child does to a woman's body isn't just about aesthetics. Hormones and other factors can make nine months a living hell--not to mention dangerous. And what about the lifelong responsibilities for the child?

There used to be a saying, "Every child should be wanted." I agree. When an unwanted pregnancy occurs, only the mother has all the information and the intimate connection to the situation, as well as being the ONLY one who will ultimately be responsible for that child.

As a very young man, you have a lot to learn--but I applaud your passion and willingness to have this discussion. I wish you had a more open mind and were more aware of the kinds of situations women have to deal with daily.

Finally, you can't murder someone who isn't born yet. That's just hyperbolic language politicians dreamed up to get the Evangelical base of the Republican Party to become enraged and help them win elections. Pat Robertson designed it as a "power play" years ago. This is well-documented. You got suckered.
