I've long thought we made a huge mistake focusing so much on the womens' movement without paying nearly enough attention to how it might affect men.

We've failed to work together to evolve together.

I think that's part of why it's harder for men to create friendships. They don't know what they're supposed to be like and never sure how what they are or what they do will be perceived.

But the most interesting part of this to me was that I would have written the same advice to a woman. The specifics might have varied a bit, but not the content, not at all.
