Well, the pollsters are not getting very many people to respond to their calls--in fact, responses have been historically low. If the only people picking up are lonely people with no one to talk to, it might not reflect the actual voting public.
Let's also not forget that we voted Trump out already and I don't see his base growing in size since then, so we have plenty of reason to believe his lackeys will also lose this time around.
Of course, they'll pretend they won, which is another problem. But I think you might be mistaken on the voting and I sure hope I'm right!
