You may not want to go there, but I do.

I just watched a PBS series on Joseph McCarthy. Roy Cohn was McCarthy's sidekick during the infamous hearings in which Americans suspected of being communists were dragged before a committee and interrogated publicly based on nothing more than rumor and innuendo.

Roy Cohn went on to work for Donald Trump's father, Fred Trump, and then for Donald.

That's how Trump learned how valuable it is to keep dirt on other people.

You could hold someone hostage if you had the right kind of dirt. If personal secrets are valuable, you can only imagine how valuable government secrets could be. They may be worth millions--maybe even billions.

Trump is not smart, but I'm pretty sure he thought of this.

Donald Trump is seriously in debt, and the $120 million he has stashed right now won't put a dent in the balloon payment of over $400 million that's due.

It may behoove Trump to play like a ditz who didn't know any better, but there was nothing accidental about what he took or what he planned to do with it.
